STELLAR Custom with Changing Places
In a public space so close to public transport, a public amenity building needs to provide for persons of all abilities. It was identified that a Changing Places facility should be included at this location. Using STELLARS modular building system both the Changing Places module and the AUWC and regular toilets could be combined seamlessly to deliver exactly what was required.
Stellar’s focus on quality, high-end finishes is the perfect fit for such a high profile location.

Stellar’s design team collaborated with JHG to prepare the designs that would meet the requirements, of Cardinia Shire Council, Metro Trains and compliance to the relevant codes including NCC2022, AS1428.1 Design for Access & Mobility and the Changing Places Standards.
The building includes an extedned verandah providing additional cover at the entrance to the cubicles, a service area at the rear, Changing Places, AUWC and Ambulant Toilets.
Custom cladding was used externally.

Stellar worked with Cardinia Shire Council, John Holland Group and Metro Trains.

Working with Tier 1 Builders and on large state government contracts requires immaculate administration and the need to be agile, and up to date with management systems and standards. Stellar proved to be a reliable supplier.

Commuters to the Pakenham Station now have a network of paths to walk or ride through the new active open space and should the need arise, they now have access to a premium modular public amenity building regardless of their abilities.
It means there are fewer challenges with coordination of site activities, fewer potential for delays and less to worry about when it comes to the end of the defects liability period.
